I am a professional cake maker, designer and decorator. My cakes range from traditional elegant styles to funky modern designs. I generally cover Sussex, Surrey, Kent and South London but can go wherever the cake is needed!
I have always loved being creative and studied Graphic Art, Design and Photography at college and have always been involved in creative hobbies. Making cakes has always been a passion of mine and a dream to be able to make it into a career.
I grew up with my Mum and Gran being great bakers and an inspiration to me. My Gran has made many celebration cakes for weddings and christenings over the years and I have fond childhood memories of keenly watching from the side lines waiting to lick the spoon when she'd finished. Picking up hints and tips along the way many of which are helpful now!
Peek-a-boo cakes has become a reality thanks to my great husband supporting my creativity after the birth of our beautiful daughter Boo (hence Peek-a-boo cakes) and also the help and support of many friends and family who happen to been keen cake testers and objective critics for me when I am developing new flavours and recipes. As well as traditional cakes I am keen to develop recipes for coeliac (gluten intolerance).
